Question 1

Are DERCHI aluminum windows and doors certified for the U.S. and Canadian markets?

Accepted Answer

Yes. DERCHI product lines hold NFRC (USA), CSA (Canada), ENERGY STAR and hurricane certifications, supported by ISO 9001 quality management and CE marking. Ratings apply to specific product series and configurations, so request the test report for the exact series, glass package and size you plan to specify.

Question 2

Can you manufacture to imperial dimensions and North American rough openings?

Accepted Answer

Every DERCHI unit is made to order. Our engineering team works from your architectural drawings in imperial or metric units and confirms every opening, operation type and hardware set on shop drawings before production is released.

Question 3

Which glazing options suit different North American climate zones?

Accepted Answer

Northern and Canadian climates typically call for triple-glazed Low-E units with argon fill and warm-edge spacers. Mixed climates usually perform well with dual-pane Low-E argon glass, while southern and coastal regions benefit from solar-control Low-E and laminated impact glass. Always verify current ENERGY STAR and local energy code requirements.

Question 4

Do you supply windows and doors for hurricane-prone regions such as Florida and the Gulf Coast?

Accepted Answer

Yes. DERCHI offers hurricane-certified series with laminated impact glass and reinforced frames. Before ordering, confirm which approval your jurisdiction requires, such as Florida Product Approval or a Miami-Dade NOA, so we can match the correct tested configuration.

Question 5

How are orders shipped to the USA and Canada, and is installation support available?

Accepted Answer

Units are protected in export crates and shipped by container to North American ports. Each project includes installation drawings and video guidance, and qualifying commercial projects can receive on-site installation guidance from our technical team.

Question 6

Who does DERCHI North America work with?

Accepted Answer

We supply home builders, developers, general contractors, architects, window and door dealers and custom-home owners. Established dealers can also apply for our partner program, which includes showroom support, marketing materials and project engineering assistance.
